Developed in dialogue with Takuji Masuda’s award-winning documentary Bunker77, the collection draws from archival imagery, actual eyewear and personal iconography, with individual designs reflecting different moments in Bunker’s life. Sculptural silhouettes, powerful proportions and intricate details turn these references into something distinctly contemporary. 

More than an homage to the style and surf culture of the 1970s, BUNKER77 is a study of character – of contradiction, radical individuality and the desire to live beyond convention. A collection charged with the same restless energy that made Bunker Spreckels impossible to define and impossible to forget.
